Not to be "Catty", but there are other C dates...

I'm a certified Cat Lady... I mean... I really like cats...actually, I should be honest... I love them. I like how sassy they can be... a juxtaposition of I'll-love-on-you-when-it-feels-like-it and a let-me-snuggle-up-to-you-for-warmth. I find the sound of their purrs soothing and I like that they don't try to lick your flush off repeatedly... Now, I love them but I don't like that they are sometimes disgusting and regurgitate often or that I always seem to gravitate towards dating guys who are allergic to felines...#nowthatsadealbreaker

Ideally, I'd be like "Let's go pet Cats" I mean there's stores like Pet Smart... there's an animal shelter... a Sphinx Cattery (hairless cats feel like peaches... they love to snuggle... I want one...Don't judge).  I'd probably want to take a handful of cats home, so here are some safer other options...

If you live in a major city (or you trek to one) you can take a class at an Circus school. Trapeze anyone? If you are wanting to experience the outdoors? Camping.  Artsy? Concerts or community theater performances.

Now, in addition to loving cats, I also love to eat. (Please note: that I do not love to eat cats.)  I think it would be a lot of fun to partake in a cooking class. What a romantic culinary adventure...

What would pick for your date with a C?

  1. I like to eat so I might go with that one. I do not like cats, but that was passed to me by my mother who hated cats. Once I let my kids have a cat, but that didn't last too long as all the care stuff they promised to do fell upon me. Cleaning the litter box was not something I enjoyed.

Circus arts? Sometimes I do have a real desire to hang from a trapeze just to stretch my arms and stuff. As a juggler I've worked in circus and it was great fun. I often dreamed of traveling with a circus full time, but not so much now.

    1. Cats definitely aren't for everyone..as much as I love mine and want to add more to household one day...I too hate the litter box concept. I wish I was talented enough and my cat was capable of using the toilet.

I wish I could juggle. I'm quite impressed that your juggling skills got you a spot in a circus. How fun!

  2. A date with my Molly the Cat? I think I'd take her boulder climbing or hiking into a wilderness. She might enjoy going to a sushi restaurant.

    1. Can we double? I'm pretty sure Tiptoe would be in heaven if I took her to a sushi restaurant.. I feel like she would order the tuna or salmon sashimi.

    1. Hey J! Thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate the encouragement and can't wait to keep trekking through the alphabet with my date ideas. The fact that I'm 4 days in a row blogging is a big accomplishment. I'd fallen off the wagon and am thrilled to be back on.

Canada, eh? I think that would be an adventurous date!
